IMP Meerschaum: Smooth Zulu (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

While IMP doesn't often produce the Zulu shape, their renditions are always quite fetching. This particular example features the form's forward-surging bowl, lifted heel, and stretched transition, each facet contributing to the shape's sweeping sense of line. The overall proportions are quite robust, offering a bold in-hand fit, and the tall bowl boasts a healthy chamber capacity. Twin beadlines around the end of the tapering shank provides some textural diversity and draws attention to the vibrant blue saddle stem that arcs out back. After plenty of flavor-neutral smoking sessions, the meerschaum stummel will patinate, taking on tans, browns, and even pinks.
