A seamless, flowing take on the Rhodesian shape, this piece from IMP possesses the form's characteristic tapered rim and wrapping ridgeline, but rendered in porous, heat-resistant meerschaum. Eight facets also encompass the rim for an added sense of firm-lined structure, which contrasts against the shank-and-stem arrangement's willowy curvature. The dark color of the saddle stem and the acrylic accent at the shank end complements the paleness of the stummel, while a band of sterling silver around the base of the mouthpiece offers a dose of flash to the overall composition.
