Like renditions fashioned from briar, this Blowfish from IMP Meerschaum is lopsided and asymmetrical in its construction, with a wrapping ridgeline that bifurcates the bowl at an angle and provides structural definition to one flank instead of the other. The medium of meerschaum isn't often used to craft the Blowfish shape very often, so this piece is something of a rarity, and a handsome one at that. The pale white stummel is topped by a saddle stem of jet-black acrylic that arcs for a comfortable smoking posture out back. With time and use, this piece will patinate, taking on tans, browns, and golds for plenty of bespoke character.
