Squat and low-lying, this Tomato from IMP is simply breathtaking in its presentation. It's stained a jet-black color that harmonizes with the arcing saddle stem of acrylic and is finished in a stimulating rustication that provides ample traction for the fingers. Shape-wise, this piece is a fairly standard rendition of the classic shape, all plump proportions and supple curves, and as such, it should be a nice starting point for those interested in meerschaum pipes but prefer more traditional designs.
