Jared Coles: Partially Sandblasted Rhodesian with Bakelite (1729)
Product Number: 002-738-0025
This bent Dublin from Jared Coles is quite poised of bowl in profile, exhibiting a gentle curvature at the underside, defined by a succinct, yet slightly softened line, resulting in an Ilsted-esque look. Neoclassical of proportions and streamlined to boot, it houses a capacious chamber within, surrounded on all sides by stout supporting walls. As for the palette, Jared opted for a dark sandblast below the high-set beadline, juxtaposed with a broad, domed rim finished in a striking warm contrast. Topping it off, it's paired to a stem of deep blue vulcanite and antique, tortoiseshell-patterned bakelite, the latter actually set into the former to make for a dapper, vintage aesthetic overall.
