This paneled Billiard, from Mogens and Doris Johansen in Denmark, features a tall bowl with six crisp, smooth panels of flame and angled birdseye, The heel is rusticated in a jet-black stain, contrasting with the chestnut/ruby hue of the rest of the stummel but complementing the color of the saddle mouthpiece. Light and well-balanced, with crisp ridgelines and a rounded shank, it's a smoking instrument that would be proud to join your rotation.
