Joura: Smooth Billiard (Infinity B) (1978)

Product Number: 002-193-0127

Karlheinz Joura is a carver committed to fashioning artisan variations of classic pipe chart standards, making him a favorite among collectors who prefer more traditional designs. This straight Billiard is a wonderful example. The form is bold and simple, the proportions spot on, and the construction boasts Joura's superb engineering and craftsmanship. For a touch of elegance, the uniquely fashioned saddle portion of the stem curls slightly downward and toward the shank, balancing out the bowl's firm, upright stance. It's dressed here in a natural, low-gloss stain, and the "1978" stamp denotes the year Karlheinz acquired this block of briar. You can rest assured knowing this pipe has all the benefits of an incredibly four decades' worth of aging.
