Now, with over 50 years of experience, Nielsen continues to create fine pipes, with a penchant for smaller pieces. This aptly named Chubby Apple is a part of Nielsen's Jewel of Denmark line, representing his finest work. The pert bowl displays a tapered rim and plump midriff and heel, with a cheeked transition to a full round shank topped with a comfortable acrylic saddle stem. Dressed in a rich walnut stain, the stummel boasts excellent flame grain and birdseye around the bowl and heel, making this pipe an excellent piece for those looking a pocket-friendly piece of Danish pipe art.
