Measuring less than five inches in total length, this Tomato from Kai Nielsen is a compact take on the classic form that's both lightweight and quite streamlined. The supple, almost spherical bowl is perched at the fore of a slender, arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement. The shank and stem keep the overall form quite svelte and understated in profile. An auburn smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights a handsome display of flame grain across the bowl's rounded flanks. A tapered horn stem tops off the design and adds some creamy notes to the pipe's color palette.
