Supple curves and free-flowing lines define this bent Bulldog from Kai Nielsen. The bowl here is tall and muscular, standing proudly atop a lifted heel and boasting a rather low-set waistline. Said waistline is marked by a pair of wrapping beadlines that demarcate the tapered rim from the rest of the stummel. The diamond shank turns upward from the low-set transition and marries a steeply curved mouthpiece of jet-black acrylic. A smoky smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights some fine tendrils of flame grain as they streak across the flanks of the bowl and rise toward the narrow rim.
