Kai Nielsen: Smooth Bent Brandy (Jewel of Denmark) (C) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-137-0129
A strikingly large piece for Kai Nielsen at over six inches long, this lithe and gestural bent Brandy features a slightly curved bowl that tapers upward to a forward-urging, angled rim, resting on a rounded heel that pushes out from a wrapping ridgeline that runs around the pipe from one side of the stem base to the other. Said stem is a jet-black acrylic half-saddle that rounds out the ensemble, providing a comfortable smoking posture while maintaining the dynamic shaping of the stummel it's paired to. This piece is further distinguished by its Jewel of Denmark designation, reserved for the highest class of Nielsen's work. Dressed in a rich auburn stain, the stummel boasts impeccable flame grain around the bowl, with swirling birdseye at the heel.
