Kai Nielsen: Sandblasted Dublin with Horn (VVVV) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-137-0147
The son of Viggo Nielsen, founder of the Bari pipe factory, Kai Nielsen spent his teenage years working in his father's shop for pocket money. This early start saw him committing to full-time work there when he turned 21, the wealth of experience aiding him in becoming a prolific artisan in his own right. This straight Dublin is a fine example of Nielsen's style, displaying a fine balance between tapered planes and soft curves. The canted bowl features a plump, domed rim atop tapered walls at the fore of a slim round shank. A tapered horn stem completes the ensemble, offering a light accent to the stummel's crisp, inky sandblast.-Gabriel Bass
