Kai Nielsen: Smooth Bent Dublin (Jewel of Denmark) (A) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-137-0149
This bent Dublin from Kai Nielsen is a larger piece for the Danish artisan, known for his excellent pocket pipes, and a fine choice for fans of his style who prefer more palm-filling briars. The pert bowl rests on a lifted, angled heel at the fore of an arcing semi-oval shank that pinches dramatically in the middle fitted with a hand-cut bent acrylic saddle stem, perfect for clenching. This pipe represents Nielsen's highest Jewel of Denmark grade designation, stamped "A" to denote its position among the very finest examples of his work. Dressed in a rich auburn stain, the stummel boasts fine straight and flame grain around the bowl, with impeccable birdseye at the heel and rim.
