A second-generation pipe maker, Kai Nielsen spent his teenage years working in the Bari factory, which his father, Viggo Nielsen, founded. Now, an accomplished and prolific craftsman, Kai Nielsen fashions fetching shapes that reflect his many years of experience, as evidenced by this Pot. Shape-wise, this piece boasts a broad, low-slung bowl that stands at the fore of a trim shank and an abbreviated tapered stem. A lightweight composition, this piece conforms naturally to the hand and clenches comfortably between the teeth. Additionally, this piece is stylishly dressed in a smoky smooth finish that highlights gorgeous grain across the bowl and shank alike.
