Kai Nielsen: Smooth Bent Brandy (Jewel of Denmark) (B) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-137-0215
As the son of Viggo Nielsen, the founder of the Bari pipe factory, Kai Nielsen was predisposed to take up the craft. Kai began working at Bari when he was still a teenager, eventually graduating to a full-time employee when he turned 21. He's now an artisan with over 50 years of pipe-making experience, his distinctive style and honed skills evident in every pipe he fashions. This bent Brandy boasts a stocky bowl that tapers from its wide, supple heel to its taut, slightly angled rim. Said bowl is posed at the fore of an ovoid shank and a demurely curved half-saddle stem, the latter of which promotes a comfortable smoking posture. Dressing this piece is a smoky smooth finish that highlights gorgeous grain across the bowl and shank alike.
