Kai Nielsen: Smooth Bent Dublin (Jewel of Denmark) (B) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-137-0217

Son of Viggo Nielsen, Kai Nielsen has a lifetime of experience working in the pipe industry. From assisting his father in the Bari pipe factory to creating the Faaborg pipe with his brother, Kai has constantly learned and grown as a craftsman. The Jewel of Denmark grade is used to categorize some of the artisan's best work, with sub-grades ranging from A to D - A being the highest. This particular Jewel of Denmark bent Dublin is denoted with the B grade, displaying a more traditional Danish silhouette while approaching Nosewarmer proportions. The walls of the bowl flare from a full-bodied heel to a convex rim that looks into a compact tobacco chamber, making this pipe an ideal option for short and satisfying smoking sessions. Out back, soft paneling along both sides of the shank gives the aft a streamlined look. Said panels continue all the way past a thin white accent band and through the base of a cumberland half-saddle stem. The vulcanite mouthpiece complements the ruby-tinged stummel, where impressive flame grain is seen across the bowl's flanks and patches of birdseye adorn the rim and underside.
