Kai Nielsen: Smooth Dublin with Horn (Jewel of Denmark) (A) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-137-0227

The son of Viggo Nielsen, founder of the Bari pipe factory, Kai Nielsen spent his teenage years working in his father's shop for pocket money. This early start saw him committing to full-time work there when he turned 21, the wealth of experience aiding him in becoming a prolific artisan in his own right. This straight Dublin is a fine example of Nielsen's style, displaying a lovely balance between tapered planes and soft curves. The stocky bowl features a plump, domed rim atop tapered walls, which stand at the fore of a slim and lengthy round shank. A tapered stem completes the ensemble and joins a trim band of horn at the junction.
