Kai Nielsen: Smooth Bent Pot (Jewel of Denmark) (A) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-137-0229

A second-generation pipe maker, Kai Nielsen spent his teenage years working in the Bari factory, which his father, Viggo Nielsen, founded. Now, an accomplished and prolific craftsman, Kai Nielsen fashions fetching shapes that reflect his many years of experience, as evidenced by this bent Pot. A sinuously bent design, this piece boasts a plump, full-bodied bowl that tapers from its broad, ridgeline-wrapped heel to its taut rim. Said bowl is posed at the fore of an oval shank and a demurely curved saddle stem, the latter of which promotes a comfortable smoking posture. An auburn smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights gorgeous flame grain across the bowl's flanks.
