Kai Nielsen: Smooth Bent Dublin (Jewel of Denmark) (X) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-137-0230
As the son of Viggo Nielsen, the founder of the Bari pipe factory, Kai Nielsen was predisposed to take up the craft. Kai began working at Bari when he was still a teenager, eventually graduating to a full-time employee when he turned 21. He's now an artisan with over 50 years of pipe-making experience, his distinctive style and honed skills evident in every pipe he fashions. This bent Dublin is a handsome composition, one that sees a stocky, thick-walled bowl posed at the fore of an upturned shank and a demurely curved tapered stem. Said bowl flares from its firm heel to its broad rim, and as it does, it takes on on a supple curvature that conforms naturally to the hand. Dressed in a rich auburn stain, the stummel displays a wealth of attractive flame grain.
