Larry Roush: Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Hammer Finish Silver (S5) (2468) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-830-0013

I've always thought that Larry Roush's stout, muscular aesthetic just lends itself beautifully to the sort of finish he's most known for. Indeed, it's big, palm-filling numbers like this bent Dublin that make for the finest candidates for one of his deep blasted treatments, with loads of briar at the flanks to showcase the tightly-stacked, concentric ripples. Up top, Larry opted to allow the rim to retain a bit of plateau, framed by a dark, smooth finish. With an accent band of hammer finish sterling silver and gently arching stem of understated, organically-inclined brindled vulcanite, this fellow is also a firm sitter, thanks to a flat at the heel.
