Gregor Lobnik: Sandblasted Bent Egg
Product Number: 002-357-0070
Though a relatively long and slim design by the standards of the Austrian Architecture-inspired style of Matzhold and his student Gregor Lobnik, this bent Egg still displays a bit more substance, and quite a bit more muscular "oomph" to its shank, transition, and lower bowl than you'd typically find in a Danish design. The two schools share a lot of similarities in their emphasis on smooth-flowing lines, but this more virile sort of energy in gesture, as well as a tendency towards more compact mass, really distinguishes both Gregor and Peter's two-man school of pipe design.
