Mark Tinsky: Coral Liverpool (5)

Product Number: 002-035-0128

While long-shanked shapes have their own aesthetic attraction, most who swear by them will also point out their practical advantage as well: a longer shank means more absorbent briar between the chamber and your palate, and thus a drier smoke. I would expect a particularly drier one from this Tinsky Liverpool, for the obvious reason that Mark really let this one go long, likely as not only stopping the shank where the block of briar he was working from reached its end.
