Mark Tinsky: Coral Lovat (4)

Product Number: 002-035-0565

The Lovat is a version of the Billiard marked by an elongated shank and abbreviated saddle stem. It's a pipe chart standard found on early English and French shape charts, and this Mark Tinsky rendition fits the archetype beautifully. The shank displays a touch more muscularity, fitting in with Tinsky's typical aesthetic, but overall, this is one of his more standard-sized pieces — the shank is lengthy, but the bowl is of comfortable Group 4 dimensions. All dressed in his iconic Coral rustication, the texture here is sublime, affording no shortage of intriguing in hand feel.
