Mark Tinsky: Cabernet Bent Dublin (5) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-035-0688
Mark Tinsky spends about half his time making pipes, half fishing, and half doing everything else. Everything else sometimes doesn't receive the attention it should, but we have to admire the pipe maker's priorities. Whatever else happens in his life, there are always plenty of pipes and fish. This pipe, as you can see, is a smooth Dublin. The dramatic flare of the rim gives the piece a Cauldron-like disposition, and provides an easy in-hand hold. The rim is rounded, the transition is gentle and gradual, and the balance sublime. This rendition offers a mahogany coloration and a slender, lithe disposition of shank and stem.
