Mark Tinsky: Tan Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Black and White Ebony (5)
Product Number: 002-035-0708
A rim cap of black and white ebony offers subtle color contrast for this bent Dublin from Mark Tinsky, its ink-on-water streaks of dark grain adding visual interest in high definition. It's a fairly classical take on the shape, its round shank rising at an angle from the upright, tapering bowl. The accenting ebony wood of the rim is echoed at the end of the shank with another wide ebony fitment, the two elements divided by the stummel, which is presented in a well-textured sandblast and reveals good horizontal growth rings as well as percolating birdseye along the flanks.- Chuck Stanion
