A bold, muscular bent Dublin, this piece from Mark Tinsky features a tall, forward-canted bowl that flares from its lifted heel to its broad rim. The bowl is framed by eight crisp facets that reinforce the form's brawny build and provide plenty of tactile intrigue for the fingers to explore. The fore of the rim boasts a rugged patch of plateau, which adds a touch of textural diversity to the bowl as well as a bit of organic character. The shank continues the bowl's angular shaping and turns upward toward a demurely curved saddle stem of amber-hued acrylic.
