Mark Tinsky: Mocha Cherrywood (One Star) (Glenn Tinsky) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-035-1011
Showcasing a high-kicking shank and stem, this Cherrywood from Glenn Tinsky, the son of Mark Tinsky, features a healthy dose of dynamism about its build. The aforementioned shank-and-stem combination pairs to the bowl at a low to mid-set transition, the shank itself quite trim, while the stem leaps skyward before taking on a gentle downturn at the bit. The bowl sits atop a flattened heel, the build of the bowl itself canting forward in a leaning stance that pushes the entire composition forward with it, adding a good deal of implied momentum. The rim is marked with a firm ridge and slopes upward to the chamber, the walls of the bowl revealing flickering flame grain beneath the briar's deep chestnut stain, courtesy of the Mocha series.
