Mark Tinsky: Root Long Shank Billiard (5) (Four Star) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-035-1137

Mark Tinsky has quite the storied history in American pipe making, founding the American Smoking Pipe Co. in 1978 and maintaining a consistent output for the over four decades that have elapsed since then. Tinsky lives in Montana and spends his days fly fishing and making pipes, bringing his many years of experience in the craft to every shape he fashions. He boasts a rather diverse portfolio, offering a wide range of shapes in a variety of unique finishes, whether smooth, rusticated, sandblasted, or some mixture of those three. Tinsky is also well known for his accenting work, incorporating everything from hardwoods to metals into his compositions. This long-shanked Billiard nicely showcases Tinsky's style, presenting a tall, stout-walled bowl that stands at the fore of a lengthy diamond shank and a reserved saddle stem. It's dressed in the classic Root finish, which highlights elegant strands of flame grain around the bowl.
