Mark Tinsky: Golden Coral Bent Pot (5) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-035-1166

Mark Tinsky has always been an adventurous spirit; in fact, he first decided to open a pipe-carving business while bicycling across Europe with his friend Curt Rollar. Since that fateful day in 1978, the American carver has built a long and successful career of making beautiful pipes, often with his own unique adaptations of classic pipe chart shapes. Squat, stout, and full of character, this bent Pot wears one of the craggiest, most rugged rustications I have ever felt, thanks to his Coral line. This texture dresses the sinuously lifted shank as well as the hearty bowl, the shaping here nice and fluid, with plenty of chamber on offer and a smooth rim for added contrast.
