Mark Tinsky: Natural Collection Bent Dublin Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-035-1257

A well-traveled man in his youth, Mark Tinsky began forging his path in the world of pipe making while he was bicycling with his good friend and future business partner, Curt Rollar. After a trip across Europe, the idea for American Smoking Pipe Co. was born, and it would launch Mark Tinsky into a long career of refining his craft as a pipe maker. With his penchant for travel, it's no surprise to see Mark Tinsky's style influenced by pipe-making cultures worldwide, with his portfolio showcasing unique interpretations of Danish, Anglo-French, and Italian sensibilities. This bent Dublin by Mark Tinsky possesses a dynamic, poised figure akin to a classic Zulu. The bowl sits at a subtle forward cant, its walls flaring from a rounded heel toward a flat rim. Flanked by two ridgelines, an oval shank transitions from the bowl and gradually tapers as it meets a gently bent stem. The Natural smooth finish dresses the stummel, highlighting sweeping vertical grain on both flanks and pepperings along the top and underside.
