Mastro Geppetto chose this paneled Billiard to represent its 2019 Pipe of the Year, its tall, robust bowl comprised of hexagonal panels framed by crisp, vertical ridgelines. It's a sure Sitter and displays a curling shank accented with a bright silver mount that's emblazoned with the Italian workshop's Pinocchio logo. Dressed in a dark sandblast and topped by a jet-black stem, this compact piece offers a dress-pipe aesthetic, while still retaining that good-natured whimsy.
