Mastro Geppetto: Rusticato Cauldron Tobacco Pipe

To say that the Cauldron is an uncommon shape would be, in my mind, an understatement. In fact, I would be hard pressed to call it anything less than rare. This example from Italian workshop Mastro Geppetto is among only a select few we have ever received from them, and it features an alluring shape. The saddle stem is gently bent, flaring into a shank that itself curves, flowing into a sweeping heel and transitioning into a distinctive bowl resembling the top of a Dublin erupting from the rim of an Egg's. The overall profile is sleek and sinuous and, paired with a handsome rustication that leaves the rim smooth, sure to be an alluring smoking partner.
