A neat, tidy Apple shape from Mastro Geppetto, a sub-brand of Ser Jacopo, this piece features a bulb of a bowl at the end of a trim, pencil-thin shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl is softly rounded and curvaceous in its appearance, and it's given center stage in the composition, as the svelte proportions of the shank and stem keep the profile's visual noise to a minimum. Dressed in the warm, affable Liscia smooth finish, the stummel displays some subtle cross grain across the fore and aft of the bowl and plenty of birdseye across either flank. Lightweight and primed for clenching, this piece exudes a classy charm that can't help but entice.
