Mastro Geppetto presents a fine rendition of a traditional shape with this paneled Apple. Taking cues from the Anglo-French school, but adding their own sensibility, the Italian marque has exaggerated the heel on this piece, creating a bulbous base for the pipe to rest on. The scalloped paneling emerges at mid-bowl, growing sharper as it moves upward to define the octagonal rim. The tapered round shank slims down as it meets a grey acrylic stem boasting eye-catching swirls of white. The briar is dressed in Geppetto's smooth Liscia finish, revealing fine birdseye and flame grain around the bowl.
