Mastro Geppetto's Liscia line denotes the workshop's smooth finished pieces, (as "liscia" means "smooth" in Italian). Here a honey-blonde stain adorns a tall, palm-filling Poker whose bowl has been stylized in a striking fashion: The aft and fore sides are raised and curve as they reach upward, creating a kind of floral aesthetic that's quite handsome. The shank has been extended with two knuckles of bamboo, separating the bright stummel from the jet-black stem and adding an organic motif.
