Featuring a striking forward cant that lends the piece a gestural stance, this Poker from Mastro Geppetto features a tall, cylindrical bowl encompassed by eight crisp facets that give the design an octagonal shape when viewed from above. The firm, angular lines of the bowl are offset in profile by the sleek, soft lines of the rounded shank and stem of jet-black acrylic, both of which take on a consistent taper out of the wide transition. The stummel wears the warm, honeyed stain of the Liscia finish, revealing handsome grain throughout its surfaces, with the stem's hue providing ample contrast. Like any reliable Poker, this piece boasts a flattened heel that enables the pipe to sit sturdily without the aid of a stand, ideal for a multitasker.
