Mastro Geppetto: Sabbiato Tomato Tobacco Pipe

This is the first Tomato we've seen from Mastro Geppetto, and it's quite a handsome rendition of the modern classic shape, placing its emphasis appropriately on the bowl as the shank and stem provide fluid balance. The aforementioned shank-and-stem combination flares to the stem base from out of a wide transition, with the shank's lively upturn and the stem's lengthy curve offering a comfortable, acrobatic smoking posture. The bowl's ample curves and squat build lend it a comfortable feel in hand, with its mid-set waist lending it ample contours for the fingers to appreciate. The pale white acrylic of the stem does well to contrast the dark sandblast which dresses the stummel, the latter showcasing some handsome grain beneath its deep stain.
