Fashioned from high-quality Italian briar and crafted by hand in the Ser Jacopo workshop, Mastro Geppetto pipes often reflect the playfulness for which Ser Jacopo is known, at more wallet-friendly prices. This straight Billiard, however, is a bit of a departure, hewing more closely to the English shape chart standard, writ a bit larger. The gently rounded bowl houses a good bit of chamber depth and is poised at the end of a streamlined shank-and-stem arrangement that subtly tapers toward the bit, for a stretched-out, elegant silhouette. Dressed in a warm honey-blonde stain that showcases the briar's natural grain, this piece is further commended by an acrylic mouthpiece of amber hues.
