A deeply bent Billiard is presented here by Mastro Geppetto, the Italian workshop imbuing this pipe with a subtler variation of their playful style. There's an obvious S-curve present throughout this pipe's build, coupled with a consistent expansion through the stem and stummel, which keeps the majority of the visual weight at the bowl, though in a way that feels quite balanced. The bowl here is rather squat compared to the height of the shank and stem combination, though maintains enough height to offer an appreciable chamber. All of the curvature here makes this piece a delightfully poised candidate for jaw-hanger, and ensures a comfortable feel in hand either way, with plenty of room at the transition to drape a thumb. Dressed in a lightly stained iteration of the Liscia smooth finish, this pipe showcases some lovely grain throughout and looks quite charming in its traditional palette.
