Mastro Geppetto: Liscia Bent Dublin (2) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-819-1233

Giancarlo Guidi founded Ser Jacopo in 1982, building a reputation on crafting high-quality briars that are renowned for their robust proportions and playful shaping cues. The Italian atelier's style has since defined the Pesaro style of pipe making, each of their pipes imbued with a sense of character and reflecting the whimsical creativity that went into crafting them. Mastro Geppetto is Ser Jacopo's sub-brand of more accessibly priced pipes that still maintain a high-quality of workmanship. Crafted in the Ser Jacopo workshop, these pieces embody the playful Pesaro style of their pricier counterparts, with this bent Dublin being an excellent example. A rather compact pipe thanks to its tightly-knit overall shaping, this is a piece which yet maintains a thick, full-bodied construction. A tall bowl flares out of a rounded heel and cants forward dynamically as the wide transition gives way to a tapering shank. Said shank meets a demurely curved saddle stem of jet-black acrylic, offering a comfortable smoking posture, while the stummel itself is dressed in a warm, deep chestnut stain that reveals handsome grain throughout.
