Mastro Geppetto: Liscia Paneled Bent Brandy (2) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-819-1236

Giancarlo Guidi founded Ser Jacopo in 1982, building a reputation on crafting high-quality briars that are renowned for their robust proportions and playful shaping cues. The Italian atelier's style has since defined the Pesaro style of pipe making, each of their pipes imbued with a sense of character and reflecting the whimsical creativity that went into crafting them. Mastro Geppetto is Ser Jacopo's sub-brand of more accessibly priced pipes that still maintain a high-quality of workmanship. Crafted in the Ser Jacopo workshop, these pieces embody the playful Pesaro style of their pricier counterparts, with this paneled bent Brandy being an excellent example. A wide transition gives way to a slim, high-kicking shank that's here paired to a demurely curved stem of vibrant red acrylic mottled with splotches of black. Complete with a comfortable smoking posture, this piece boasts a broad, robust bowl that rests atop a rounded heel, flaring out to a low-set waistline before its walls taper to the rim. Said walls additionally feature firm paneling around their upper taper, offering firmness in the hand and crisp facets to appreciate the contrast rich stain of the stummel.
