A stocky interpretation of the form, this bent Dublin from Mastro Geppetto boasts an impressive amount of substance within a compact form factor. Standing with a forward cant, the bowl's robust figure fills the hand easily, formed by thick, insulating walls flaring high from heel to rim. A hearty shank emerges from the bowl out back and joins to a tapered stem of shimmering, crimson-hued acrylic, whose demure downturn softens the profile just a touch. Contrasting the stem's vibrant complexion, Mastro Geppetto's smooth Liscia finish dresses the stummel in a smoky walnut stain that reveals trails of birdseye along the fore and underside and handsome cross grain on both flanks.
