Mastro Geppetto: Sabbiato Bent Apple Sitter Tobacco Pipe

Mastro Geppetto is produced by Ser Jacopo at the Pesaro stalwarts' workshop, offering the bold, expressive style of Giancarlo Guidi's marque at accessible prices. A pioneer of the Pesaro school, named after the location of his workshop, Guidi and his partners elevated the more whimsical aspects of Italian neoclassic designs to new heights, creating an immediately recognizable aesthetic that continues to inspire. This bent Apple Sitter is one such piece from Geppetto, placing a plump, thick-walled bowl atop a flattened heel and at the fore of a high-kicking round shank and comfortably bent stem of colorful acrylic. Dressed in an earthy stain and finished in the Sabbiato series' crisp sandblast, there's plenty of textural grain on offer here.
