Mastro Geppetto: Rusticato Spiral Bent Apple Sitter Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-819-1382

Known for pioneering the Pesaro style of pipe making, Giancarlo Guidi founded Ser Jacopo in 1982. Since then, the Italian marque has made a name for itself with its fantastical, imaginative interpretations of classic pipe conventions. Ser Jacopo's sub-brand Mastro Geppetto offers pipes at a more accessible price range without compromising on the marque's distinctive style or standards of quality. Fashioned with a broad, flat heel and dressed in a distinctive finish, this sure-sitting bent Apple from Mastro Geppetto is both stylish and practical. The bowl stands with a strong forward cant, its plump figure formed by thick walls curving from heel to rim, contouring naturally to the hand. A high-kicking shank-and-stem arrangement balances the composition out back, with the saddle stem's gradual arc promoting a comfortable smoking posture. Dressed in the Spiral rendition of Mastro Geppetto's Rusticato finish, the stummel's complexion is characterized by an inky, striated rustication, complete with a series of deeply carved channels around the bowl for an intriguing textural experience.
