Mastro Geppetto: Rusticato Natural Paneled Bent Apple Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-819-1390
Known for pioneering the Pesaro style of pipe making, Giancarlo Guidi founded Ser Jacopo in 1982. Since then, the Italian marque has made a name for itself with its fantastical, imaginative interpretations of classic pipe conventions. Ser Jacopo's sub-brand Mastro Geppetto offers pipes at a more accessible price range without compromising on the marque's distinctive style or standards of quality. With its muscular physique and poised profile, this paneled bent Apple from Mastro Geppetto possesses a figure much like the classic Author shape. The bowl is squat and plump, framed by eight facets emerging from the broad, sweeping heel and curving toward the flat rim, combining firm ridgelines and supple curves for a snug fit in the hand. A compact shank lifts out of transition from the bowl, carrying a gentle taper as it pairs to a demurely bent saddle stem. The Natural iteration of Mastro Geppetto's Rusticato finish dresses the stummel in a warm, earthy rustication, offering a wealth of rugged texture to appreciate.
