Measuring just a bit over five inches in length, this Poker is a more reserved offering from Mastro Geppetto, foregoing the Pesaro design sensibilities typically seen by the Ser Jacopo sub-brand in favor of more traditional, Anglo-French shaping cues. With an eager forward cant, the bowl sits firmly upon a flattened heel, from which sturdy, straight walls rise toward the rim. Out back, an arrow-straight shank and saddle stem join to the bowl, the stem fashioned from swirling, fiery acrylic for a vibrant touch. Complementing the stem's warm palette is Mastro Geppetto's Rusticato finish, which dresses the stummel in a rugged, earthy rustication and a light, natural stain, offering plenty of engaging texture for the hand to appreciate.
