Mastro Geppetto: Sabbiato Poker Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-819-1460

Known for pioneering the Pesaro style of pipe making, Giancarlo Guidi founded Ser Jacopo in 1982. Since then, the Italian marque has made a name for itself with its fantastical, imaginative interpretations of classic pipe conventions. Ser Jacopo's sub-brand Mastro Geppetto offers pipes at a more accessible price range without compromising on the marque's distinctive style or standards of quality. A handsome showcase of the marque's whimsical style, this Poker from Mastro Geppetto presents a playful interpretation of the shape's sure-sitting design. Posed with an eager forward cant, the bowl stands atop a flat, offset heel, from which straight, sturdy walls rise toward the rim, the fore of which features a windshield-like design that mirrors the base of the bowl. A compact shank transitions from the bowl and pairs to a sleek saddle stem of jet-black acrylic, the pair lending this piece a trim look in profile. Mastro Geppetto's Sabbiato finish dresses the stummel in a crisp, hickory-hued sandblast that reveals rippling growth rings across both flanks.
