Since then, the Italian marque has made a name for itself with its fantastical, imaginative interpretations of classic pipe conventions. Ser Jacopo's sub-brand Mastro Geppetto offers pipes at a more accessible price range without compromising on the marque's distinctive style or standards of quality. Sleek and gracile in profile, this Acorn from Mastro Geppetto is an elegant take on the classic shape. The bowl stands pert and upright, with smooth walls flaring gradually from the rounded heel toward a pair of crisp beadlines, which are set just below the inflated rim. Out back, a slender shank gently lifts out of the transition from the bowl and joins to a gingerly downturned tapered stem of jet-black acrylic. Mastro Geppetto's smooth Liscia finish dresses the stummel in a fetching chestnut stain that reveals lovely grain.
