Mastro Geppetto: Liscia Paneled Cutty with Bamboo (3) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-819-1476
Known for pioneering the Pesaro style of pipe making, Giancarlo Guidi founded Ser Jacopo in 1982. Since then, the Italian marque has made a name for itself with its fantastical, imaginative interpretations of classic pipe conventions. Ser Jacopo's sub-brand Mastro Geppetto offers pipes at a more accessible price range without compromising on the marque's distinctive style or standards of quality, as evidenced in this Cutty rendition. Framed by eight crisp facets, the bowl stands with a dynamic forward cant, with firm ridgelines emerging seamlessly from the heel and curving gracefully toward the rim. A compact shank transitions from the bowl and meets a three-knuckle expanse of bamboo, granting this piece an organic touch in addition to a respectable length, with the shank end punctuated by an abbreviated saddle stem. Mastro Geppetto's smooth Liscia finish dresses the stummel in a warm, honey-blonde stain that highlights handsome grain.
