Since its founding in 1982, Ser Jacopo has become one of the most recognizable and iconic pipe brands in all of Italy. Under the watchful stewardship of founder Giancarlo Guidi, the workshop developed a style that has since come to define the Pesaro shaping aesthetic. Each Ser Jacopo pipe is imbued with a whimsical sense of character that reflects the brand's creativity and playful spirit. Ser Jacopo's sub-brand Mastro Geppetto offers the same whimsical shaping style and rich aesthetics as the main brand, but at a more accessible price point. A muscular, full-bodied take on the classic form, this bent Billiard by Mastro Geppetto sees a tall, tubular bowl posed at the fore of an upturned shank and a sharply curved tapered stem. Said bowl stands atop a sweeping heel and grows thick walls that rise to an angled, rearward-orientated rim, which draws the eye to the aft. Back there, the shank and stem's tapering S-curve provides balance to the composition and adds a pronounced gesture to the shape's silhouette, all while promoting a comfortable smoking posture. An inky rendition of the Liscia smooth finish dresses the ensemble and fosters a dark palette elevated by the stem's bright red complexion.
